All Hands and Families

Welcome aboard INST Sweeny

There will be barriers set up when you enter the side door and at NO TIME will ANY Cadet or PARENT go outside of the barriers on the Hanger Bay.  There are private aircraft in the Hanger Bay and NO ONE is permitted to go near them.  You will have a Safety Stand-down Saturday first thing to lay down ALL the rules.  These Rules MUST BE ADHEARED TO - there is no room for discussion on this.

You will be locking your PT Bag up in the Blue Lockers in the Galley hallway.  Make sure that your PT bag zips completely as ALL Cadets will secure your bags here until Drill is secured.  Your PT Bag should include PT Shorts knee length blue or black in color or Sweatpants, dark T-shirt or NSCC T-shirt or dark colored Sweatshirt, white socks, running shoes.  Include also a Water Bottle, towel, deodorant and an extra pair of socks.  In cold weather dress accordingly.  GEAR-ADRIFT WILL NOT be tolerated and will be confiscated, you’re gear is your responsibility!

All Hands must have regulation haircuts, clean shaven, name tags, shined shoes, flashes, and appropriate uniforms. Some of you have not paid attention to these Regulations so in order to enforce them here is what we are going to do:

-        If your Hair is too long then expect to be trimmed up the day of drill.

-        If you have hair on your face your will be shaving.

-        If your shoes are not shined you will be doing a GMT on proper procedures.

-        If your Uniform is NOT Pressed you will be doing a GMT …. ETC…..

Note from Uniform of the Day above:

·        If you are new Sea Cadet to the Unit and/or have not completed your BMR wear Black Dockers like pants with a White button Shirt for Sunday.

·        IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CONTACT LPO James ASPP!!
